It could refer to the ships that once transported wine between the Mediterranean and the rest of the world.
While several theories exist regarding the exact origin of this name, one certainty remains: La Navicelle reflects a deep connection to the sea, a central element of its identity.
Ideally located just a few kilometers from the Mediterranean, Domaine La Navicelle benefits from an exceptional terroir.
The red clay soils, enriched with limestone and schist subsoils, provide ideal growing conditions for our vines. This unique combination of soils and climate allows the full character of the cultivated grape varieties to be expressed. The sea winds, blowing from the Mediterranean, bring a refreshing breeze that regulates temperatures and promotes optimal grape ripening.
This interaction between land and climate gives our wines a distinctive signature: a natural salinity that reflects the soul of the estate and imparts a unique character to each cuvée.

We also reduce our ecological footprint at every stage of production, from vine cultivation to the management of our facilities.
In order to minimize our environmental impact, we prioritize eco-friendly packaging, using engraved bottles or those with recycled paper labels, cork or Diam stoppers, and completely excluding the use of plastic. Additionally, for the electricity in our cellar, we have installed photovoltaic panels, contributing to a more sustainable and energy-autonomous production process.
