The story of Domaine La Navicelle began in 1992, when the new owners discovered a vineyard in Le Pradet, in the Var, and immediately fell in love with it.
Captivated by the authenticity of the Provençal building and the beauty of its surroundings, they decided to make it their family vacation home, a peaceful haven to recharge away from their professional lives. Over the years, their attraction to this exceptional place and the potential of the land grew, encouraging them to consider a more ambitious future for the estate.
2006
The Arrival of a Winemaker to Structure the Estate in Le Pradet
It wasn't until 2006, after several years of exploration and time spent on-site, that the owners decided to take the next step. They hired an experienced winemaker to improve the quality of the wine, which had previously been of low quality. The winemaker restructured viticultural practices and began a transformation project that would span several years.
2010-2014
The First Major Renovation Works
With the arrival of the winemaker and the desire to improve the estate, large-scale renovation works were launched: construction of a storage shed, renovation of the cellar, and replanting of the vineyard plots. These works aimed to optimize wine production while preserving the identity of the terroir. Agricultural and winemaking choices were gradually modernized to produce more refined wines.
2019
A New Modern Vision
In 2019, the arrival of a new winemaker and their team revitalized Domaine La Navicelle. They brought an innovative and modern vision while respecting the legacy of previous generations. Through the introduction of new winemaking techniques, the estate produces wines of great precision, balanced and refined, meeting the expectations of connoisseurs of fine wines.
